Butterfly pattern
Hook size, to suit yarn ply used
Yarn ply, any: Small amount of yarn in 2 different colors

Sl st= slip stitch
Ch= chain
Sc-=single crochet

Butterfly pattern:
Begin: Using yarn A, ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring
Row1. Ch 8, sl st into ring, ch 8, sl st into ring, ch 5 sl st into ring, ch 5, sl st into ring
Row2. Sl st into 1st ch 8 loop, work 10 sc into the loop, sl st into 2nd ch 8 loop, work 10 sc into the loop, sl st into 1st ch 5 loop, work 8 sc into the loop, sl st into 2nd ch 5 loop, work 8 sc into the loop, sl st into first sl st made, finish off, break off yarn A and weave in ends
Row 3 notes please read: there will be 1 sc worked into each sc of the 2 groups of 10 sc and the 2 groups of 8 sc, there will be 1 sc worked into the beginning ring in between each group of 10 sc and 8 sc (4 times in all) which is referred to as the valley in the video tutorial. Do not work a sc into the beginning sl st of rounds, to avoid this count your st’s of each group.
Row3. With yarn B, join with a sl st into the 5th sc of the 1st ch 10 group, work 1 sc into the same space, work 1 sc into each of the next 4 sc, work 1 sc into the beginning ring (valley), work 1 sc in each of the next 10 sc, work 1 sc into the beginning ring (valley), work 1 sc in each of the next 8 sc, work 1 sc into the beginning ring (valley), work 1 sc in each of the next 8 sc, work 1 sc into the beginning ring (valley), work 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc, sl st to join, fin off yarn, weave in ends
Cut a 20cm piece of yarn and loop around body for antenna
